Jacob is a true professional. He makes the most out every lesson and has unique ability to help you not just play better but have a new understanding of music.Dec 16, 2018Verified
The only thing I ask myself is why Jacob doesn't charge more. He's great with my son and works to adapt to his skill level. He gives homework - which I love - and is just a good guy overall.Sep 21, 2018Verified
Jacob is a very skilled musician as well as a patient and respectful person. He made my class fun and provided enough material to practice for an intermediate level student. He is a great guitar teacher!Aug 28, 2018Verified
Jacob is awesome, he was available same day and was super patient and easy going! He knows his stuff! Really great instructor!Jun 29, 2018Verified
I've only had a few lessons with Jacob so far but it has been great! I appreciate that he is willing to work with me on songs that I want to learn. Scheduling with him has been easy and flexible which is very important to me! He has a very easy going nature and obviously enjoys playing guitar and helping others learn. I'm looking forward to continuing my lessons and would recommend him to anyone!May 18, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rates are: $30 for 30 minute lessons. $40 for 45 minutes. $50/hour $75 for 90 minutes. I charge a bit more for time and travel if I can't get to your place in about 20 minutes, or if you're far outside the city; but this can be avoided for any students that wish to come to me. If any student ever found the 1st lesson to be unsatisfactory for any reason, they would not be charged. This has yet to happen, but I would only feel comfortable taking your money if you were happy with your session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once we establish a day and time that will accommodate the student's schedule, I simply try to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I really believe that learning and playing guitar should be fun, that it's not as difficult as a lot of people think, and that it is a skill that can be used for the rest of one's life. Playing the guitar really does add a lot of joy, and remove a ton of stress from day-to-day living.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have many many years of professional and private music lessons from some of the most amazing players. When I lived in Southern California I studied under a very noteworthy guitar professional, he tours the world performing with many big-name acts, and performs on television shows regularly. I also worked as his guitar-tech while living in CA.
