Lisa Martinez, Attorney at Law
It’s free with no obligation to hire
Introduction: I started my solo practice with a love for defending others during what may seem like their darkest hour. I am a former prosecutor and law enforcement officer. So, I have seen all sides of the criminal justice system. I know your anxiety and frustration and I understand the seriousness of the matter to you and your loved ones. I am passionate about learning my clients’ strengths and being able to translate the things I learn about them and their case into beneficial information that can be used to counter the allegations against them, lessening the blow of the prosecution’s case. I am persistent and creative. This helps with gaining the best possible outcomes for clients. I also keep a manageable caseload, putting clients before profit. I do not take on more than I can handle. Every client deserves a thorough legal review of their case and the continuous time it takes to work a case through resolution. I am affordable and can make legal services accessible for most budgets using flat fee retainers, no billable hours, and offer payment plans, with a lower up front payment. Contact me and let’s talk about your experience and what matters to you. I will listen and get started on your case fast and efficiently.
Customers rated this pro highly for value, work quality, and professionalism.
Lisa was accessible and dependable. She works every angle of a case and does not give up. I have worked with attorneys before that blew me off or never answered my questions. Lisa treats everyone with patience and respect.Dec 3, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Affordable retainers with flexible payment options. Everyone deserves a defense. The prices vary depending on the facts of the case, the charges, and the phase the case is in. Pre-filing fees would be different than trial fees. A misdemeanor charge of trespassing would be less costly than a domestic violence assault charge. These things can be worked out over the consultation, where a more thorough review can take place.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Consultations can be completed in-person or over the phone. I understand that on top of tackling this legal matter, you have a life and loved ones to manage. After we talk, the retainer process is simple and can be done completely remote. So, you can hire me while on the go from your phone or laptop if in-person is too cumbersome. I can get started on your case right away!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Previous law enforcement experience as a deputy sheriff and police officer. Double bachelor degree from SMU in Human Rights and Psychology, with a minor in Philosophy. Law school degree (JD) from Arizona Summit. I had several internships, in which I practiced law under supervision. Previous prosecutor experience as a prosecutor for King County.
