- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer personalized catering packages to meet the customers needs whatever they may be. We try to stay away from cookie cutter menus to make sure everything for that event is tailored to the customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe there is nothing more important than to meet a perspective client face to face. How ever we all know that is not always the best first option with how busy we are all now and days. Typically we would trade a few emails and/or phone calls, then arrange a meeting at the events venue. Whether it be a community center, a park, the office or your home I will personally be there to go over all the odds and ends of your event. During this time we will go over menu items, food placement and timing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Gulf Roots Catering Co. although is a new business has well over 20 years experience in the business. The Chef/Owner has worked at the top restaurants in the Tampa Bay area and has been the Head Chef of one of the largest catering companies around. Doing everything from million dollar weddings (thats right a million $$$$) to small intimate get togethers with families and loved ones. Chef Ben Shaffer has also won many of the beaches big contests including Johns Pass Seafood Fest and Grouper Cook-Off. We have selected the best staff from all our experience to make sure all events go off without a hitch.
