Rebecca may be on of the most talented designers I have ever worked with. She has an eye for understanding a clients vision and executing designs that even they didn't know they wanted until they saw it. She takes her work seriously and takes pride in providing the client with a result they are genuinely pleased with. Rebecca is also a kind humble person who makes the normally stressful and egocentric design process completely seamless. Rebecca could not have been more wonderful to work with. I hired her for a couple small projects in my apartment, consisting mainly of home organization and spacial planning. The hardest part for me is always getting started, and after listening to my goals, she was able to jump right into a plan of attack. She has a positive, no-task-too-big attitude, and had a wealth of ideas and resources to pull from. Rebecca did a wonderful job on designing my living room. I've kept everything the same for the past seven years (layout, art, style) and needed to refresh, and add sophistication to my space. Rebecca was able to guide me, help me choose furniture, lighting and decor while still keeping my taste and style in mind. She was patient when I couldn't decide and pushed me to see her vision; which was beautiful! Rebecca is very detail oriented and every part of the large living space was designed impeccably. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All projects are unique so we don't offer one set fee structure, it is on a project by project basis to ensure that your needs and budget are being met. We always kick off any project with a 2 hour complimentary consultation and then take it from there. We look forward to working together.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the consultation we will discuss what you are looking for and what kind of services you might need. Some clients only want help with setting a budget and outlining the goals of the project paired with some advice, while others are looking for the full scope of services which includes programming, coming up with a vision, schematic design and design development, and then documenting the design to be built-out or installed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. From there I have 15+ years of commercial and residential design experience.
