FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At first I ask a series of questions that allows me to get a feel for what the client wants, needs, and enjoys. Walking room by room, I then suggest what I believe the space needs to be visually appealing and function in the best way. I record that information on an itemized list for my benefit as well as the clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I staged homes for 5 years prior to starting this company. That job also entailed interior design for realtor's homes and offices. I am currently working towards my degree in Interior Design, applying each principle to my work as I learn.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a young girl, about 14, I started helping my mom with her staging company, not realizing that she was creating a path for my future. At 16 years old, I left traditional high school and started at an independent study high school, working for my mom’s company every day. I started as a furniture mover, working my way up to assistant designer at 19. I loved staging, so much that I wished the designs weren’t so temporary. Realizing my dream, I set out to open my own company at 21, leaving my mother’s successful staging company, and becoming my own boss. I absolutely love designing gorgeous spaces for clients. The look on the client’s face when the job is completed is priceless. I look forward to seeing your reaction to a design that you absolutely deserve.
