Details: I want to change a few smaller things in my current landscape (e.g. plant flowers, trim shrubs, replace sprinkler head) • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • Retaining wall • Install artificial turf • Small (less than 1,000 sq ft) • Backyard • No, this is a one-time project • Home

Edible Ecology's reply
not sure why I got this review. I never worked for this person. he asked me to install an artificial turf and I told him that we don't offer that service. this was the end of our interaction.

Jeremy does a great job pruning a variety of our fruit trees (from new to well established) and has done so for years.

Jeremy and Edible Ecology did great work on a small backyard clearing job. Jeremy was incredibly knowledgeable about different plants and trees. He clearly knew his stuff, and him and his team were also friendly. I highly recommend the quality of their work. The initial per hour rate per worker was also reasonable and competitive. However, I felt a subsequent quote to finish the clearing job and do other backyard work was way too high and was not in line with the initial hourly rate.
Edible Ecology's reply
Thank you, Paul. I want to be sure that you understand why my subsequent quote was so high. The work that we have done for you consists only of removing the aerial parts of the invasive plants. What may look like a job that's nearly done is in fact far from being completed. If you plan to put pavers and a patio in that space, it will need to be completely excavated to remove the root structures of the ivy and blackberry. Foregoing this, leveling the site would be next to impossible, and the plants would push back through the patio once it was completed. Please be sure that whoever you hire to finish the job is aware of this, as it may be difficult for the untrained eye to see.
