Quoted one price, did the job and I had to call them to come back because they missed a handful of spots. Asked them to come back a month later to give them another chance and they only did half of my yard (while I was home inside the house) and texted me after they left stating that to do the other half of the yard would be twice as much as I paid for the whole yard the first time... oh and I owed them for the half of the yard they already did??? The first time they left an invoice for me to pay. This time the guy came back to my house demanding the money for the half of the yard they actually did in cash or check right that moment. Before we begin any service we review the scope and expectations of the job with the customer as was the case here. We have serviced this client's property in the past and provided stellar service which includes servicing the property at a convenient time for the client and provided quotes which accurately reflected the extent and range of the services. In order to insure transparency while still being able to provide quality service at a competitive price, we shared with the customer a revised quote due to the increased scope of the job (taking into account the size of the property and resources needed to achieve the desired outcome). In addition to providing flexible scheduling, we also provide our customers with multiple ways to provide payment for services rendered which includes hard and soft copy itemized invoicing as was the case here and we are always available to discuss any questions or concerns that may arise regarding services rendered. We stand by the quality of our workmanship and customer service and will do what it takes to exceed our customer's needs. This attention to detail has earned us pro status as numerous customers have left excellent reviews based on our quality service, transparent pricing, and stellar customer service. We do this while taking into consideration competitors' rates and working to provide the better quote to meet the customers' needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We review the client's job description and follow up with the customer via a phone conversation as well as a face to face meeting. We will review client expectations and anticipated outcomes. We provide a free quote as well as provide ample opportunity to listen to and address the client's questions and vision. Our goal is to meet the customer's wants and needs and work towards not only meeting but exceeding their expectations with professional and courteous service from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?South Jersey Community Development has been in business for over 10 years. Being a licensed, insured and bonded company, our employees engage in ongoing training to insure safe, efficient and expert usage of equipment on the job site. We are OSHA certified.
