FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because not all trips are straight-forward and I want to provide the highest quality of service, I charge a non-refundable Trip Planning fee. The cost of the planning fee is relative to the type of trip being planned. When it comes to proposals and estimates, pricing is subject to availability and can change at any point prior to booking. I proactively look for any available discounts and promotions when preparing estimates. A quick note about same-day bookings: a rush fee is applied to these bookings and will be discussed during our chat.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step after meeting on Thumbtack is to schedule a short pre-planning consultation. During the consultation, which can be completed locally in-person or via phone/internet, I will take some time to get to know you and your travel preferences. After that, I'll collect your planning fee payment and schedule a follow-up to deliver your proposal(s).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently hold a CLIA Membership and am in the process of becoming a Certified Cruise Consultant. I also hold numerous certifications from multiple cruise lines and resorts. I typically spend upwards of 5-10 hours/week completing different training courses so that I can better serve the needs of my clients.
