I’ve been working with Dorothy since January of 2018 and she has been worth every penny! She has completely transformed my singing (I wasn’t even aware of how much I didn’t know before I started, and I had voice lessons before and been in music groups for years). The changes she has you make and the goals she has you working towards are very concrete and make such a huge difference as long as you listen to her and keep up with it. On top of all of this, I just cannot emphasize what a lovely person she is. She’s incredibly supportive and has become a close friend, I look forward to my lesson every week! When I listen to recordings of me singing from even just a year ago and the difference is astounding! I’ve been getting called back for lead roles and she helps you sing all sorts of styles (she can also help you with your acting). Bonus: she has an extremely cute and friendly dog!

Both my son and I have taken vocal lessons with Dorothy. She is an amzing teacher: able to connect with both kids and adults, novices and seasoned performers. She focuses on YOUR goals, and is skilled at teaching a wide variety of music. Once you have studied with Dorothy and mastered the basics of proper technique, you will be able to sing and perform in ANY setting. And she makes her lessons fun!
