Introduction: When people think of assisted stretching, they tend to imagine something medieval, some kind of torture rack where the practitioner yanks and twists and the client grits their teeth in pain. Nothing could be further from the truth! In fact, partner-assisted stretching like practiced at Stretch Workz is surprisingly gentle and relaxing. By focusing on breathing and multiple repetitions, we avoid activating the client's stretch reflex, allowing the muscles to lengthen significantly without pain or discomfort.
