About this pro
Bruce and his team did a great job on our screened in patio. They worked quickly with a high level of quality. They responded positively to any concerns or punch list items and worked to sure we were pleased with the final product. This included coming back and doing a full walkaround to eliminate any punch list items. We have recommended Bruce to others and will use again in the future.Jul 1, 2018Verified
Bruce did an amazing job on my deck! Very punctual. Kept us updated with any changes with scheduling or completing the job. Very reasonable on pricing! I would hire him in the future for other household repairs.Apr 5, 2017Verified

Agreed on a price but was going to be in April before starting. Tried to call multiple times along with email and texts with no success. Very poor communicationApr 17, 2018Verified
We agreed to meet and on that day he did not show up. Texted me a couple of days later and told me he had been sick. Ok I said let me know when you are feeling better. Never heard back from him. Tried to text yesterday never heard back. Now I have to start over.Mar 29, 2018Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I worked with my father as a carpenter at the age of 15 years old, while going to school of course. I continued to work alongside my father in flooring for the next couple of years gaining a wealth of knowledge, not just in all aspects of flooring, but construction too! At the time I lived in Georgia, most of my friends worked in construction (both new and old) and I was eager to work in all areas as much as I could. I had my own business in GA, but after the economy crashed I had to cut my losses and find a full time job that provided stability for my family. I have experience working for Servpro in Georgia, for several franchises (owned by the same person/family). During my time at Servpro, I gained experience with water and fire restoration, trained and acquired certification in Microbial Remediation, residential services once restoration/remediation were completed. Also, I have had the honor and privilege working with Servpro's Storm Damage Disaster Recovery Team (traveling all across the country). Their Damage Disaster Recover Team is quick to respond to natural disaters to include: flooding caused by heavy rains, hurricane and tidal surges, tornadoes and wind damage, ice and snowstorms and wild fires. Altogether I have 25 years experience in construction and still love what I do! I love everything from meeting the homeowner and seeing the project/ideas/working with people in general down to the finished product and how happy the homeowner is (and everthing in between.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always loved construction and being hands on. I feel it is a privilege and my calling in life to work in construction (both new and old/repairs), whether it is helping to improve a structure due to damage or creating something new altogether for aesthetic appeal.
