This is the request we put up on Thumbtack:
We are adding in a second bathroom in our basement. We need pipe installation and drainage installation. Current drainage runs in cement floor so we need to discuss how drainage is going to be run.
MPR construction got back to us and they set up a time to come by and give us a quote. The day they were supposed to show up they had to reschedule because the guy went to the wrong address, which things happen so we were ok with it just rescheduled for the next day.
The guys came out and talked to my fiancé and kept mentioning how they can tile the floor for us. My fiancé explained to them several times this was not the work we were looking for and we needed a plumber. They left and told us they would get us a quote.
2 days later we received the quote from thumbtack, all about tiling the floor. I wrote back that I was not sure where the miscommunication was but this is not what we were looking for and that we needed a plumber. Then I received a second message from them recommending I get a plumber in to do the other work before they tile for us...
They did not pay any attention to what the original request was looking for, or what my fiancé told them several times we needed or the message I wrote back to them. Maybe they are great if you need your floor tiled, but this is what not what we were looking for at all...

Project has not started yet. Paulo and Raul came to see the project on the promised time and Marina is very responsible calling and sending me email about the progress of the contract. I know I will hire them again because of the good first impression about them. I will send photos when finished.
Marcello,Paulo and Raul did a good job. They own the company so expect the best work you could get. They are professional, respectful and trustworthy. I am planning some more jobs for them.

Paulo and his team from MPR construction did an excellent job on time. They removed one old chimney and repointed another one.
