Private lessons (one hour): $75
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a free behavior evaluation where I ask some questions, meet the dog, and gather information your training goals. And if you decide to sign up for training then we would schedule the lesson times!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started training dogs at the competition level 17 years ago. I competed and won numerous championship titles in obedience competitions. I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Behavior from Towson University where I was able to internship at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. During this internship I gained experience in clicker training and positive reinforcement. I also worked at Petco as a certified dog trainer. After college I attended Starmark Academy in Austin, Texas where I learned many aspects of dog training and earned my Canine Training and Behavior Specialist certification. After graduation I started working with clients on basic obedience, behavior modification and specialty training.
