- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our company started when our owner, Jesse Scott, was still in high school. He was upset that the DJ’s at the school dances he attended were not reading the crowd and not playing requested music. Jesse has always loved to dance and decided that the only way he could give the people what they wanted and what he felt inside at a great dance party was to become a DJ himself.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We feel that in any circumstance hiring someone with a passion for what they do is so important. While it is great to work for a living it has been our experience that those who also work doing what they are most passionate about produces a higher level of excellence in their field. Here at Boogy Entertainment we truly have that passion for music and dance and it is our greatest desire to share that passion with others in every capacity we possibly can. Whether we are DJing a wedding, a school dance, a corporate event, emceeing a dance competition, etc. that passion is there, it is infectious, and the crowd can feel it and loves it. It’s why we do what we do!
