- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
ATTORNEY'S FEES: Personal injury cases are handled on a Contingency Fee Basis. In other words, I am paid only when you are paid. Attorney's Fee Structure: - Pre-Litigation (insurance claims) = 33-1/3% - Litigation (arbitration, mediation, trial) = 40% CASE COSTS: The law firm advances case costs associated with prosecuting a personal injury case. For example, costs of obtaining records, investigation, filing fees, court reporters, experts, depositions, mediation, trial, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
FREE STRATEGY SESSION - You provide a quick rundown of your injury situation, and I provide a crash course in what personal injury law in California entails. EMPOWERMENT TO MAKE BETTER CHOICES - You walk away from our free strategy session with a sense of empowerment, knowing that you can make better choices. NO PRESSURE - My goal is not to sell myself. My goal is to educate you. I want you to come away from our conversation knowing that you are better prepared to make the right decisions. You hire me when you are ready.
