FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Free complimentary 1 Hr consultation is provided. PRICING: $,$$$ - $$$,$$$ Pricing is catered to the type of the Event. The service(s) selected will determine the best pricing option fit for your event. Pricing options may include an hourly fixed rate or a fixed percentage of the net expenses of the event. We DO NOT PROVIDE STANDARDIZED pricing due to the industry variables that are involved. We request a retainer before any services are rendered in which includes producing a estimated proposal (requesting a quote) related to the event. Your retainer books your Event Manager for the date on our calendar and secures the production labor/design together with a brief development of your estimated proposal. We kindly ask that you submit your event inquiry via our website (marctaylorevents.com). REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) We understand clients may want to produce the event themselves but would want all of the expenses involved in which may include but not limited to vendors, item cost, rental cost, equipment cost, food and bevarage cost, event design, staffing, labor cost, negotiated offers/discounts, liability insurance, licensing, permits, and more that may be involved. Requesting for the proposal will release all rights from Marc Taylor Events to the client to share, distribute, alter, replace, or remove any items on the granted document. The client will have the right to hire another event professional to produce the event that was proposed by Marc Taylor Events. An RFP will be offered for a fee based on the labor to produce the proposal. The RFP fee is a seperate charge from the retainer. Event dates that are less than 60 days from the event post date will incur a rush fee charge. The rush fee will be reflected in the billing
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Complimentary consultation can be done in-person, phone or virtual. After a signed agreement between the client and the event manager of the estimated budget, the client will be presented the contract. With the signed contract, a percentage of the estimated budget will be required to start the deveopling phases of the event. Lastly, the client will be presented the meeting schedule, to-do list, event updates, designs, and billing.
