Introduction: Katie Parr Music Academy...Where Musicians Become Stars! PIANO LESSONS: AGES 3-5 Children as young as 3 years old enjoy Katie's piano lessons she developed called "Piano Land" Lessons incorporate a cartoon series that associate to a note on the piano. After students learn notes on the piano they identify the notes on the musical staff. Lessons are 30 minutes, once or twice a week. Katie's fun and proven methods are designed to take you step by step to becoming a recording artist. You will learn vocal technique, develop your style, how to read and write music, staging and performance skills. Lessons are either 30 or 60 minutes/ week. Choose the age group you fall into: Southlake Children's Choir- ages 5-8 Stars Singing Troupe- ages 8-12 Artist Development- ages 12 & up SOUTHLAKE CHILDREN'S CHOIR- AGES 5-8 Get in touch with your inner celebrity as you sing, dance and perform away onstage! Learn singing and performance techniques, build confidence, enhance stage presence, make new friends and develop excellent team skills! End the season with 3 fun Holiday themed performances at Six Flags, The Southlake Tree Lighting and the Dallas Holiday Parade! Boys & Girls ages: 5-8 Time: 1-2pm Saturdays Date: September 4 - December 12 Price: $79/ month Enrollment deadline August 15 -- Space is limited-- STARS SINGING TROUPE- AGES 8-12 Girls ages 8 to 12 enjoy the stars singing troupe where they work with other girls on three themed shows per year. Learn harmonies, performance techniques, build confidence, enhance stage presence, make new friends and develop excellent team skills! End the season with 3 fun Holiday themed performances at Six Flags, The Southlake Tree Lighting and the Dallas Holiday Parade! We hold tryouts at the beginning of each show season.
