Introduction: Sawyer was raised in San Diego, CA, by music enthusiast parents. They nurtured his love for music and encouraged him to pursue his passion. After some sweet mix-tapes during his high school years, Sawyer upgraded to vinyl and was a club DJ throughout college. In 2003, he created Moonlight Mobile DJ with a simple mission statement: to exceed his client’s expectations. Sawyer was the DJ for our wedding in September and he killed it!!! I'm a bit of a music snob and had outlined my likes and dislikes in the questionnaire he provided and boy did he listen! Not only that, but I had a few uncommon song requests and he was able to find every single one! I can't tell you how many people at our wedding told me that he was the best DJ they have ever heard at a wedding. He played music to keep our guest dancing all night long, from the youngsters to our grandparents, the floor was packed until the last dance. Not only that, but he extended the party a bit because he could tell everyone, including himself, was having so much fun! He is very attentive and not just with music, he constantly made sure me and my husband we doing ok and asked if we needed anything else. He reminded me to "take it easy" on the drinks during speeches and toasts :) We had a unfortunately situation with the power being blown due to too many things being plugged into one outlet and he was on top of it and fixed before we even knew what was going on. Lastly, he was super helpful with the flow of our ceremony and reception. He provided his expert recommendations on how it should go but never once fought me if I felt differently. If you want your wedding to be perfect and dancing is important to you, you HAVE to book him for your wedding!!! We love Sawyer!!

Chad was great! We were lucky to find him, and felt like we were in good hands throughout the whole, overwhelming, process of planning a wedding. He was friendly and able to deliver the vibe we were hoping for. Very professional, not cheesy, and did a great job putting together a set from our playlist. I like to talk with my clients to first see what their needs are, then I like to let them know what my style is and see if we are a good fit, if we are then I send them a contact to review and then I begin assisting them on how I can help them create the perfect party!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in business and I have been djing for over 20 years. I have dj'd over 1000 events and can bring a relaxed professional presence to your event.
