We warn our customers anything out of our companies control cannot be warrantied because of quality assurance issues. This includes non recommended paint/material purchases, and work performed before we begin. Everything about this project went well except the deck stain that was applied only to the areas that the home owner sanded and prepped. To avoid over charge on our bid we made known to the customers this portion of the deck cannot be covered. This led to a discounted price for the save in prep work in an effort to work with the customers and still no avail to remedy the situation. We have changed company policy and to get the best for your money as well as a happy customer we give estimates from the current condition at the time of the estimate. If the project conditions changes or extra work is done by the homeowner in an effort to save money, we will inspect and reestimate the project. This way if the new project conditions are acceptable we will warranty the entire project at no extra cost
