- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Arrive and set up a table while they do intake forms. I go over the intake with them and cover procedures and concerns. Start the session with predefined level of interaction. Finish and review session, tear down equipt, set up following visit and take care of payment info. Leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Modalities I use and have training in include: Myofacial Release Deep Tissue Sports Massage Medical Massage Muscle Release Technique Facial Mobilization Technique MET- Muscle Energy Technique PNF- Propiocepive Neuromuscular Facilitation Neuromuscular Therapy Structural Release Protocols Strain/counter-strain Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage Swedish Massage Lymphatic Drainage Hot Stone Currently training in: Cupping Orthopedic Massage Therapy Structural Integration I have spent the last four years in the dance community studying movement and working with athletes to help them perform at their best.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started after 2 therapist friends came into my life and encouraged me to pursue massage. I was intrigued with the lifestyle and flexibility it promoted as well as it’s fundamental effect of helping others. I wanted to have something similar and have a career that allowed me to help others.
