FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
They are all on my brochures and web site.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just started on Thumb tack since I put new interns on to handle so I have some extra time. Start by asking to receive as much information as possible about the family, the dog, the problem , what their goals are. Every family is different, as is every dog, whatever their idea of the ideal dog behavior would be , is the behavior we train for. For example, some people like their dog jumping up for a hug, some don't. Not our job to tell people how to live with their friend- just to help them get where the family wants to be .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau, 5 stars on Google 43 years experience, over 10,000 dogs trained, (first 2000 are the hardest!) numerous classes in dog behavior . Learned 43 years ago from a very nice K9 handler in San Francisco, found I have a knack for knowing what to do to get the dog to do what I want and for the dog to like it! In taking in interns, I found that , like anything else, painting, music, math, some people have a gift for it. It can't really be taught (except the mechanics) reading a dog is like listening to music, you can either pick up the subtleties, or you don't.
