Sophia worked as the day-of coordinator for my sister's wedding in Gloucester, MA this October. I wanted my sister to have her wonderful day, without the stress of all the moving parts behind the scenes; my sister wanted me to enjoy the day, as well. That is what led us to look for wedding coordinators. Finding Sophia was a gift for us both. I COULD NOT have asked for more. From the very first time I spoke with her, Sophia was warm, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Sophia knew the right questions to ask to help my sister as she planned, and to get all the information that Sophia needed to run the reception seamlessly. And seamless it seemed! Sophia provided invaluable assistance to our non-profit advocacy organization, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, in hosting a recent lobby day on Capitol Hill. Sophia planned my and my husband's joint birthday party in July of 2015. I selected her because of her attention to detail and her organizational skills. She was responsive to our needs and executed a seemless event. Our friends and family had an amazing time and we were so impressed with her recommendations for the cake, caterer and decor items. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?In my first meeting with my potential clients, I like to understand their vision by asking a series of questions. I then develop a professional plan that suits their work style. The project timelines I design help to keep the client abreast of each and every detail and milestone in the planning process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 10 years of experience planning events large and small; from hosting international delegations, lobby days, conferences, private parties, receptions ans bridal showers. I specialize in corporate, non-profit and private events.
