FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to keep my pricing straight forward and base it on the schedules prepared and an estimate of time to complete the return. I have low overhead so I don't need to charge the high rates most CPA are charging.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to get to know my clients, I sit down for a conversation about them and their tax situation. I gather information about goals, needs, expectation and then go over their tax information. I go back to my office and work on their tax return, after completing the return I explain the tax return. Then give suggestions as to tax savings or changes o help reach their goals. My current clients are free to call anytime with questions. Often, they call to schedule time to meet or drop off their tax information. I can also be reached by email.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked at a CPA firm for 15 years, I have retained my CPA creditials and I am registered with the IRS as a paid preparer. I've spent the last 2 years working on my own and enjoy the personal touch with my clients. Most CPAs don't have time to talk with their clients or help them understand how to make changes to reach their goals.
