I didn't hire a musician for my event, but Mood for Guitar was extremely professional and helpful when I was shopping around, getting information, and comparing quotes. Thank you!Nov 28, 2018Verified
Mood for Guitar delivered, from start to finish. They were spontaneous as well as disciplined, fun as well as serious. They are excellent musicians and warm and lovely people who are responsive, creative, and fun-loving. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.Jul 1, 2018VerifiedMood for Guitar: Classical and Jazz guitar's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Generally $75 to $150 per hour, depending on venue and requirements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Foremost discuss venue/audience and appropriate set list. Mostly classical, mostly jazz? Mostly vocals? Is this a performance for a sit-down audience or background music (or something in between)? With a little lead time, I'm happy to add new pieces, either instrumental or vocal and take requests on the spot when I can.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My musical training involves classical and jazz guitar instruction at the Levine School of Music and George Mason University. My on-the-job training has come from numerous performances and workshops over the years, both for solo performance and with my gypsy swing jazz group, Swingology (swingologydc).
