FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard price per hour is $50 for a full lesson of a professional hour which is 50 min. I also have several other options such as $15 single song critques, online lessons and thirty minute lessons for $35. I also have master classes that can be used to really jump start your vocal training and prep you for performance. Plus this allows the student to watch others work their songs with the same princples at different levels. This alone really helps the student learn, from an aural skills perspective. We can discuss your budget and your goals and find a solution that works for you. I can be paid through my website or on Thumbtack.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I schedule a phone conversation; I ask alot of questions to be sure that I am the best teacher for the client. I like to find out a history and goals for their future. I then will talk to them about their budget and time frame to show them the best price options for their situation. I have one at a time simple options as well as long term slots open. I am also going to be offering an academy approach to learning the foundational basics which I hope will help people share and get feadback from other vocalists as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Feel free to go over my resume and flyer. It really explains my background and some masters I ahave worked with. I started out in Classical performance and then switched majors to commercial music. This includes all genres as well as songwriting and the business side of music. My instrument is voice. I have a very specialized training in resonant space and how to create the different sounds for different genres. I am also training in Resonant Vocal Therapy. I have recently been invited into a new Vocology program which will become a masters program.
