- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard is $175 an hour for wedding receptions, and ceremonies are sometimes priced separately because of the extra equipment that might be involved. Other events and parties are $125 an hour standard. If your event is priced less, then I am offering a promotional rate to you in order to help my business grow. Win for you, win for me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to communicate to make sure we are the right fit for your event. Every gig is completely unique, and each DJ's style is different. We are very versatile and can cater to a wide range of events. Meeting in person before your event may not always be possible, but we highly recommend making the time to have a face-to-face meeting with your entertainer. We offer unlimited consultations leading up to your event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always active in professional development, continually striving to get even better at my job than I was yesterday. It works! I keep up to date on all music, and am always learning more about artists from past generations. This allows me to be a versatile DJ, able to entertain a wide variety of guests. Additionally, training and practice turns potential disasters into minor inconveniences, always remedied behind the scenes. We take steps to have a back-up plan for everything in case technical issues might arise.
