FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Wedding Officiant: $75 and up (rates may increase for distance travelled).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all depends on the needs of the couple. Some couples are unfamiliar with what they need to do in order to be legally married. Once a couple expresses interest in my services on Thumbtack I schedule a phone call or a Skype/Facetime meeting. At this point I will talk about what the couple's responsibilities are as well as discuss what they should expect from me. We'll walk through any concerns they might have - and if they elect to move forward they should click the "hire" button on Thumbtack. I will email examples of past ceremonies and tailor one of those to the couple I am serving. It's very important for couples to realize that a legally recognized wedding officiant can sign and submit your marriage license - however, they cannot obtain your marriage license for you. Couples must follow their County Clerk's guidelines for obtaining that license.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Arts from University of Valley Forge.
