Introduction: KJ Equestrian is located at Kinni Valley Riding Academy in River Falls and is owned and operated by trainer/instructor Kelsey Jurek.
We offer horseback riding lessons for ages 4 and older as well as boarding, training, leasing, showing, sales, and summer camps. We have a particular interest in developing a great foundation for beginner and intermediate riders with an emphasis on safety and fun.
The KJ Equestrian lesson program emphasizes the philosophy that if we are to ride horses, we should also know how to care for them.
Students are given the opportunity to learn all aspects of riding and care, including handling, grooming, and tacking their horse for their lesson. We also take the opportunity to teach students additional aspects of equine care, including feeding, housing, and general first aid.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have about our trainers, horses, or the programs we offer.
At KJ Equestrian, we love watching students learn and grow as horse people.

My daughter was able to ride with Kelsey at KJ Equestrian this summer. The indoor was wonderful for the Wisconsin winters. The horses were healthy and well-cared for. Kelsey is just the right kind of trainer: calm and encouraging. I highly recommend.

I worked for KJ Equestrian for a little under a year and learned a lot of valuable information about equine handling, training and various veterinarian procedures. Kelsey is EXTREMELY knowledgeable in many disciplines and is a genuine equine enthusiast! She has a positive hard working attitude while creating a fun atmosphere for those of all ages! I would recommend anyone of all ranges of experience to board at KJ equestrian or take lessons from her!

This is a superior boarding facility. Spotless barn, bathroom is always clean, quality hay (both grass and alfalfa), horses always have hay and fresh water during turnout, stall horses are always blanketed for inclement weather, heated barn and arena to 50+ degrees in the winter. The pasture is the best I've seen. 70 acres of beautiful land where the horses can run, play and graze. My horse thought he died and went to heaven when he came here.
