FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I've found that pricing per job works best for both me & my clients. For extra services I do have some standard prices; Laundry is $20/2 loads and appliance cleaning is generally $15/appliance, depending upon the condition of the appliance. As a chef & a baker I have also provided clients with meal services & fresh baked cookies for an additional fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I will meet with a client at their home & create an individualized checklist for that client to ensure that nothing gets overlooked. Next we will finalize price & what date/time works best and go from there!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started cleaning houses at 18 with a cleaning service while attending MJC. My late husband was a contractor & I worked alongside him for years cleaning residential homes, job sites, foreclosures & office buildings until his death 4 years ago. I've worked as a baker & chef most of my adult life & love preparing meals for busy clients.
