She was very nice very clean and I would use her many other timeMar 1, 2018
Julie was such an amazing caterer for our wedding. The food was delicious!! She has a great variety of food to choose from and it is all amazing. She also provided table settings and a beverage table. Julie was right by our side the whole way with quick responses and offering more assistance when needed. I recommend her for any type of event!Nov 1, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do have lower pricing then most. That is a fact from thumbtack. Again I am not looking to make a fortune, I do this as a passion not a career. And with my pricing I also have more to offer then others I am not saying better because I am sure there are bigger and better cooks then myself but on a business side point I do offer/provide place settings, linens, table top decor, serving equipment ( chafing dishes, beverage containers, serving platters, utensils etc) professional wait staff, dessert and candy stations/bars and I have even hosted parties for my customers. ( example: did baby showers where I provided all the food and drinks ,did cupcake stations in lieu of cakes ,created and decorated all the tables with decor, was in charge of the games and prizes. All were very successful. I also like to help out by even giving discounts for fundraising. There are so many school events that take place that even though I have only did a few school events I always try and help out so I do offer discounts. So in my own words this is how I am different from others.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I welcome all new customers to come to my home for a sit down get to know me/Them ,and a tasting. I want my customers who do not know me and my cooking to come meet me and taste my food(s). I want to show them what I can offer them how I can help them at their special event. I want them to be comfortable and at ease knowing I will make their event remarkable!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Aside from the catering I have a full time job that I started in 1989. . I do not have college or culinary education.I do the catering as a passion not a career. I am not looking at the $bills but the happy faces and big smiles on yet another satisfied customer at their big or small event That is why I do this. I do appreciate the payday out of it but appreciate the satisfaction more.
