Robert is a very nice person, but I was quite disappointed in his fence building workmanship. He stated there were too many tree roots to remove the concrete holding the original fence posts, so he used hammer-in steel post holders. One of the post holders is sticking out of the ground about a foot. He said not to worry about it, since he would build the fence so I could not see it. It is clearly visible on the other side of the fence, but that is not a problem, since the neighbors refused to pay for half of the job. Job was supposed to take approx. three hours, turned into three days, with him not showing up or contacting me on the second day at all. There are so many more problems with this job, but I choose not to waste anymore of my time explaining, since he is moving out of state in a couple of weeks and it won't matter anyway. It goes to show, you really do get what you pay for. I wish I would have had more money to hire a pro.Jul 18, 2018Verified
After showing up when scheduled initially, contractor did not follow through and the job was finished by someone else. To be fair, the contractor may have been getting mixed messages from the homeowner, my 91 year old mother in law. He did not call and discuss any issues he was having with us, however.Sep 17, 2018Verified
Great guy!! I've used him twice and both times he's done exactly what I needed when I needed it done. Fair prices and very punctual.Sep 5, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try to keep the prices low, so the customer is not financially wiped out. I also shop for the cheapest and best suppliers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I try to talk with the customer and offer ideas to them. If they have an idea of what they want, I try to facilitate their dream. Also throughout the project, I send pics to them or communicate any changes that may be needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am self taught or I've helped other contractors with their jobs to get some training.
