- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I like to begin with either a face to face or virtual consultation (depending on location), get an understanding about the clients business, social networking goals, budgets and limitations. Following that I will research not only their business, but search their competitors and begin to develop areas of focus as well as campaign suggestions. I follow up with a written proposal to give the client a better understanding of my vision for their brand awareness.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking online certification courses during my spare time. Social networking changes so quickly that i want to keep up on the trends so I can better service my clients. In the past I was a Project manager for some major footwear brands (Nike, Puma, Converse & Reebok) so I had the opportunity to work with people from all over the world. This grew my cultural appreciation and ability to communicate and understand different regions, markets etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had started doing this for a small business I developed a few years ago. I'm generally a creative person and love getting involved with the creation and building of a brand. So as I started the networking for my business I realized I loved what I was doing and it worked it's way into a dream occupation until I made it a reality.
