Shari Wonders at ACES of Streator took care of the everyday needs of my grandparents as they declined. She cleaned, helped them with daily activities, made sure they were eating and taking their meds. And just was there for them as a trusted friend. If it was company they needed most that's what she gave them. She listen to them repeat the same stories over and over with respect and affection. They trusted her completely. When grandma died we needed her even more for grandpa who never had done much in the home. When grandpa passed, not only did Sheri help him be comfortable in his final hours, she helped us clean up the house for the wake and then in preparation for selling the family home. Sheri and her team have been utterly indispensable! My mother has back issues and I am far away so we are relying on Sheri and her team to help our family take care of business and have some closure. I could not recommend ACES of Streator more. I wish they were where I live!

Shari has been providing home services for my family members. Hiring someone in this capacity was a difficult decision as there is nothing we value more than family. Without exception she has been dedicated, honest, hard-working, kind and generous. It is my earnest belief that her care for them is always thoughtful and genuine. I always discuss my rates at the first meeting with my clients. It is a much more professional way to run my business.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with my clients prior to our first visit. I get to learn a little about what the client's needs are at that point. I then set a schedule for what is convenient for them. We build our relationship from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I attended IVCC In 1991.
