OK, let me start by saying that I have no relation to John and had never met the man until he came to my town home to bid on it's renovation. John arrived to the appointment on time and got to work basically looking at everything i asked him to and pointed out other things that would need repair or renovating. His list turned out to be more comprehensive then anyone else's but most importantly, his bid came in the lowest. And i mean the LOWEST. I usually dont go with the lowest but John was so professional, i thought i would roll dice on this guy. And im glad i did... I have never had a renovator/handyman/ do it all guy who worked harder or was more personally invested in his/client's work then i had with John and his people. He did everything, showed up every day early, was ahead of schedule, bought his own supplies, stayed late, and generally just worked his ass off to making sure the project was done above and beyond expectations. Seriously, I have invested in many many flips and rental properties and most need work and this is the first time I can say that i was 110 percent satisfied from the work, to the price, to the worker's disposition...i cant say enough.. i was so happy with his work ethic and his results, that i paid more than we agreed because i felt that he should be awarded and because his bid was so low and he was just so damn worth it. If you have any job at all, i dont care if its renovating a house or refining plutonium, i would call John in first and foremost and if he lived in my county, i swear i would make him a partner and have him handle all renovations and estimations. Please do yourself a favor and hire this guy! if you need to actually speak to me and see that im for real, then send me a message here and i will give you my number to call and tell you all about it.

Absolutely outstanding job! Affordable fair price replacing two toilets. Easy to work with and schedule. Very professional and clean working. Even taped and papered off the floor to protect it and left the rooms as they were found like nothing ever happened. I will definitely hire again for any plumbing, electrical, whatever needs done that I can't get to or have the ability. Referring to friends also because someone trustworthy that does quality work is hard to find. I checked with a very reputable attorney for reference that has used Modern Mechanical prior to his Thumbtack account and his work matched the outstanding referral I received.

Professional, reasonable and quality work. Very hard to find in the Hobe Sound area.
John also mentioned that he does AC repairs and located a primary AC filter that previous repair men could not locate.
I'll definitely use him for future projects and share his contact info with friends.
