FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I deal with pricing on a job to job basis. Price can vary depending on the number of people I'm photographing, type of shoot, travel required, time required, location fees and what the client desires as the end product(s).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to either meet with or at least have a phone conversation with the client a few days before shooting. This allows for us to communicate any ideas and expectations that way we can both arrive properly prepared- them with the right outfits, hair, makeup and mindset, me with the correct equipment, ideas and mindset as well. I also like to try and get to know the client a bit as far as interests and personality type beforehand because the more I can become familiar with my subject(s) the better I'll know on how to approach and handle the session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did take a few college classes on photography which included film and digital although it was not my major. I have an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design with over 10 years experience in Photoshop creating graphics and editing images. I have studied online through professionally structured courses through websites like Creative Live. I have also attended a number of in studio demonstrations and seminars on various photography and editing techniques.
