If you are looking for a makeup artist, I highly recommend Jackie. She did my makeup for my 60th birthday party and while applying the makeup she also shared tips on how to apply it based on my skin and skin tone. Jackie was friendly, professional, enthusiastic, punctual and my makeup looked AMAZING! I received a lot compliments and questions all night about how beautiful I looked and who did my makeup. 😁 Thank you Jackie for transforming me so beautifully! You did an incredible job! I look forward to working with you again in the near future!

Jackie did the hair and makeup for my backyard wedding in Danville (June 2022) and she really brought an amazing positive spirit to the day. She was really positive and responsive online and in person. She did the hair for my mom and MIL and completed a masterful Hollywood glam look for me that was a big hit and came across beautifully in our photos. Jackie arrived bright and early so we had plenty of time to complete the look and she paid special attention to the details to make sure the look was perfect before she left. She also studied the images I had sent her the night before and came prepared to deliver with a bright smile. Star was very professional and a makeup artists who really knows what she's doing. The way she applied the makeup products onto my face felt like soft feather dusting; I nearly fell dozed off. She was very gentle with her application & also helped me tweak the eyeshadow colors a little bit to blend with the color of my outfit. My face looked like one of those "beauty" filters when she was done! Then I sat with the sun directly in my face (for 30 mins) during the wedding ceremony I attended, I was worried that my makeup would melt, but it didn't. The products she used were top notch, thanks again Star. I highly recommend her for your next event that needs a Makeup artist (and hair also). Thanks Star.

The pricing on Thumbtack are at a discounted rate and will be honored on all first time bookings.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process starts with establishing a understanding of the desired look that you would like myself or a team member of Star High Beauty to achieve. We can establish that through pictures of yourself from previous photo shoot or selfies, online images or our online photo gallery. Once your desired look has been picked and recommendations have been made based on your facial features, skin type and or hair texture etc... We will confirm the date, time and location after you have reserved your booking with a 50% deposit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Cosmetologist. I graduated from Milan Institute Of Cosmetology of Fairfield Ca, in 2012.
