- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet with a new client and I will do a cosultation. The consultation will include a walk-through of the rooms needing service. I will take pictures of the project and get ideas of the decor, color, and style that the client is wanting to do in their space of choice. I also will get a budget set up of how much decor will cost and the price of my services. The money for the decor will be paid up front for shopping for the home. I will keep receipts and I will also keep track of my hours in a Work Log app and my millage in the Everlance app to assure you that things are accurate and pay will be equivalent to time spent working. After the consultation the terms of agreement will be drawn up into a contract for both parties to sign.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S in Sociology from the University of Central Missouri. This degree allows me to work and have an understanding of people and their needs. I have a certification in Interior Decorating and Entrepreneurship that I obtained through Auburn University. This certification really developed my natural talent in interior decorating and gave me knowledge in how to work better with patterns, colors, lighting, fabrics and much more. It also educated me on how to run a business in something that I enjoy doing so much!
