Introduction: Originally from Memphis, Tennessee and now located in Tampa, Florida, RB and the Gang is a 13 member rock and roll group that is best known for it's live performances featuring creative renditions of popular hit songs from the 50's to 80's, Motown, and songs from their original CD.
They packed major clubs throughout the United States and performed in concert with artists such as The Drifters, The Platters, The Coasters, The Diamonds, Herman's Hermits, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam the Sham (Wooly Buley), Little Anthony and the Imperials, Chubby Checker and Tommy Boyce (composer of the Monkeys songs and of "I Wonder What She's Doing Tonight").
Now they are thrilling Florida audiences of all ages and leaving them clamoring for more. Reviews from their audiences often use the words "incredible", "a blast" and "exceptional."
We love that audiences of all ages know and love our music. They love to sing along and dance to all of their favorite songs. Encores are our favorite because we know that our audience is having fun and wanting more.

The band was great last night!! The girls were exceptional singers and the music was great to dance to! I did not love the last set as well as the first half, but overall enjoyed it great!!!! I will definetly follow this band whenever I can.

Saw them recently-great dance band-NOT AT ALL a show band. Nothing but music-zero personality. Close the curtain and you'd think it was an album playing. In dire need of a front guy or gal who can connect with the audience.

Our last performance was a dance, not a show. Since 1978 RB and the Gang has been gearing our performances to the audience at hand. This audience was an Oldies Dance Group. We’ve always been told by our dance audiences that they abhor inane chatter in between songs – they are there to dance! So we geared our performance to the dancers and there was no dead air or useless chatter. Many of the dancers said we were the best band they had ever had at their dances.

This outfit is more fun than a little bit! They open with songs we all remember and you'll be singing your lungs out in less than a minute. It's 50s and 60s rock & Roll at its' best. You look around and people are singin', shoulder boppin' and just having a great time.
The harmonies and solos are on point and the musicians' timing is great. They are one tight band.
If and when you get the chance to see and hear them, go for it, you will thank yourself for goin'...

Wow, "Oh What A Night"!! We had a group of ladies looking for a fun night out and did we get it. RB and the Gang were fabulous and kept us on the dance floor, "All Night Long"...the music is still in my head as you can tell. Great musicians and singers. Hope you are playing again locally soon!!
