Rick seemed to be very knowledgeable. We thought we only had one problem but he pointed out another and fixed that, also. He also responded very quickly, even though it was New Year's Day.Jan 1, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We do not charge a service fee so to come out and diagnose the issue is free. The minimum labor fee for small adjustments, lube and tune, or simple rewiring cost $55.00. Torsion springs start at $99.95 each including labor. Rollers/ wheels run $99.95 for 10 or $119.95 for 12 including labor. Complete door overhauls, which include springs, cables, bearings, drums, and rollers start at $349.95 including labor. Basic 16x7 door installs start at $799.95 including labor, haul off, and disposal. New openers have a starting price of $349.95 including labor or if you supply the opener I charge $110.00 to install it for you. Door off track fee is $150.00
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer to waive the service call with repair or I will offer a "free estimate" for new customers. I COULD troubleshoot over the phone, and will a lot if I can, (camera phones have really made this a little easier) but, for the most part, a quick stop to assess the situation is in order. I go over all the "moving parts" and will discuss different options and pricing before ever getting started!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been in the Garage Door business since 2000, about 17 years. I have been lead technician, lead trainer and spent years being the "troubleshooter" at my old company... it was when I was responsible for training all my managers and supervisors that I decided it was time to work for me! I still to this day am invited to come speak and train techs for other companies and their supervisors as well.
