My daughter has been attending vocal lessons with Mrs. Griffin since the first of the year, and loves it! She had previously been enrolled with other vocal programs around the area, but none were a good fit. It was not until Mrs. Griffin, that my daughter began to enjoy lessons once again

Mary-Jane is an excellent music teacher! She has years of experience with both individual music lessons and as an elementary music/high-school choir director. She is experienced with working with children and youth at all levels of development. She knows how to adapt to each students' particular needs to help them reach their goals. Music lessons can sometimes bring out anxiety in even little ones, but Mary-Jane patiently guides her students to play the best they can in a very caring and loving manner. I would highly recommend her!

My daughter Anna began taking piano lessons from Mary Jane Griffin at age six, and when she was 14 she began taking voice lessons as well. During that time, Anna not only received a wonderful education in music from a very professional and educated instructor, but she also learned how to perform, overcome setbacks and obstacles, and to graciously accept and appreciate success and praise. Anna continued with both piano and voice studies at Musically Yours until she was 18, at which time Mrs. Griffin not only helped her find a college where she could continue to develop her musical talent, but also coached her for the auditions and wrote a recommendation that helped to earn her a substantial scholarship award. Mrs. Griffin has been a positive influence, mentor, and friend, and I recommend her unequivocally.
