About this pro
I am surprised this company is still on here and in business as the customer I lined up for him is suing him for thousands of dollars for screwing up a remodeling job, lying , misrepresenting his experience and looks like he was paying his help under the table. Will be going the court to testified against him in June, 2018.Mar 3, 2018VerifiedPhilip R.'s reply
I'm pretty aware of this horrible experience this customer has given me which was back in 2016. It was sure an experience to learn from. As I had Gary Hartloff himself which was the customers ex husband sabotaging my job site installing incorrect hardware on my project, trying to cause havoc on my project. Inspection passed, they had me continue my amazing work with 4 separate contracts, until the end payment was due and they didn't pay me in full. They ended up kicking me off their property when I asked to have my engineer check something out that missed the plans. Dishonest costumers trying to commit fraud! It's rough out there please be aware from these people!
I wrote a detailed post but got deleted when the page refreshed. The kid has potential if he could get past making excuses and coming up with reasons. Accountability is a sign of maturity and decency which is clearly a work in progress. Bottom line is Phil didn't deliver on his final product as agreed and therefore I would not recommend his services. If you do, I highly recommend babysitting the project to ensure all is going according to your standards, not Phil's. Phil, your focus is on making excuses, coming up with reasons, and placing blame on your client - get better at your craft and running your business and you won't need any excuses or reasons. I never write reviews that are not five stars but this experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I considered giving two stars, but his services are average at best on a good day.Nov 30, 2016VerifiedPhilip R.'s reply
I'm really sorry you feel that way Damian, but we worked ten extra hours trying to please you and do exactly what you wished. When we left you thanked everyone for the hard work and also thanked us for dealing with you and how great it looked. What you were asking for was impossible because no matter what in tile you will see lines. I have used this experience for further work in my future to not take on the impossible. For everyone who wants to see the work I did for Damian check out my pictures it is the all white fire place mantle.
