FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge per hour depending on the project and it's size. If it is a larger project, such as designing and implementing a network or security solution, I would charge a flat rate
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to schedule a face to face or over the phone meeting at first to assess the customers needs and to see if I can meet those. If we agree to move forward I make sure that the customer is informed of all processes prior to starting the work. I will have the customer sign a release of liability and non-disclosure agreement (if needed) and then begin work on the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelors in Computer Science and a slew of technical certifications such as; Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA, Linux LPT1, VMWare, EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker. Aside from formal education, I was a Communication Specialist in the U.S. Army until I retired in 2013. I served several roles during my time in the military such as; Network Engineer, Network Administrator, Security Engineer, Systems Administrator, Desktop Support Technician, and Help Desk technician.
