- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Something I like to remind couples is that they’re not just paying for coverage time on their wedding day; they’re also paying for experience and expertise. Your photographer is also one of the main points of contact for advice up to and on your wedding day. Having someone who is experienced makes a huge difference for your entire engagement/wedding experience!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I email with my clients for the most part, getting an idea of what coverage they need and what they’re looking for in a photographer. I send out a questionnaire to get all the info I’ll need about the wedding (venue, other vendors, start/end times, etc). After the first few emails, I always like to hop on a call or meet up for coffee!
