- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BA in history from New College of Florida, the honors college of the State University System of Florida. The degree program was writing-intensive, culminating in a thesis project. My academic thesis was 105 pages, focusing on history and media studies. I conducted original research at archives in Los Angeles, New York, and Tallahassee. While obtaining my degree, I was trained as a student writing assistant at New College's Writing Resource Center. This training, in addition to holding the job itself for two years, provided me with experience tutoring all types of writing at the college level.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have mostly worked with college students.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do I just want to finish this specific assignment/task or do I want to become a better writer overall?
