Introduction: I'm an N.C.I.D.Q. certified, full service interior designer, with over 20 years experience. Having earned a Bachelor's Degree from the Florida State University School of Interior Design, I am qualified to work with commercial as well as residential interiors. All of my services are not always required; however, I will touch on them briefly below. If you simply require assistance with space planning, color, etc., I will be happy to assist with same; and will provide advice on how to proceed. I keep a file on each client so that, in the future, should you have questions or if you'd like to continue onto another stage of your home improvement (or a totally new residence), I will have all the pertinent information. It's important to remember I'll only be as involved as you want me to be. Additionally, I am able to produce a total re-design of your interior and draft it to be blueprint-ready, including electric and ceiling plans. In the alternative, if you already have the plans for a new construction or an addition, I will go over the plans with you to insure the electric, lighting, plumbing, etc. are adequate and convenient for your lifestyle. I can provide space planning and will draw the furniture placement so that you'll have a complete picture of your lay-out. In addition, I can design and draw up original, custom window treatments, including assistance with hardware, fabric selection, and installation of same. Another service I provide is assistance with the selection and purchase of additional furniture, accessories, lighting, etc. Also, should the need arise, I will design and draw shop drawings for custom furniture, cabinets, shelves. Depending upon how involved you wish me to be, I can also provide and/or deal with any and all sub-contractors who may be required to complete your project. As previously stated, I am a full-service interior designer. My services extend beyond the above; but again, only as far as you're comfortable with. Please be assured nothing will proceed without your prior approval; and you will always be informed of all costs involved before they're incurred. All of these services will be provided to fit your taste and requirements. I'm very fond of and good with the creative process. Every facet of interior design involves creativity, from simply planning furniture placement to designing an entirely new home. My strong suits are color, re-design and interpreting clients' wishes and taste, to name a few.

Bobbie Brantley took raw space and designed a law office that was welcoming, unique, functional and professional. She wove the nature of our practice and my and my partner's personalities into each phase of the office. She was there from start to finish. From design, flooring to wall coverings her choices were tasteful. The build out was with in the landlord allowance. She recommended the furniture and furnishing for the offices. She had a custom oak conference table built for the library. The staff offices were practical and functional. Our staff was pleased with their space. Our clients appreciated the environment and felt at ease. All who came in were impressed with our offices. Ms. Brantley has permission to post photographs of the office.

Bobbie has advised us several times on our previous home and on our current home. Her suggestions for wall color paired with window treatments were unique and pleasing resulting in just the look we wanted - comfortable yet striking. When I told people our living room walls were eggplant color with red toile drapes, they cringed until they saw the combination and how the colors complemented one another. What really made an impact was painting the mullions in the 9 foot wide front window the same red/brown as the "red" toile. Bobbie designed the cornice for the window as well. On our current home, we liked the color combination of frosted mulberry and smoky mauve so well that we did both the master bedroom/bath and the guest room/bath the same colors. Very soothing, restful and lovely! She is knowledgeable, skilled and very talented. I highly recommend her.

We have hired Bobbie Brantley's services on several residences and have been very pleased with each project. We first went to her to re-do our dining room. She turned a small, uninteresting room into a showroom. Her creativity and eye for detail resulted in a dining room we never envisioned; and at a cost that was acceptable. Next, we asked her to update a condo we moved to on the beach. She successfully incorporated our existing furniture with a few newer pieces. The result was just the right amount of coastal infusion with our traditional furniture. In addition, she made some changes in the existing floor plan, which gave us much more room. We received many compliments on our condo. When we sold it, the changes Bobbie made to our floor plan and to our decor, along with her expert staging, resulted in a higher sales price than we had anticipated. We purchased an Arts and Crafts home in St. Petersburg. The house was in very poor condition. Bobbie helped us renovate it. More importantly, she changed and re-drafted the floor plan to fit our lifestyle. What we most appreciated was her knowledge of the period of the house. She made the changes we required, while at the same time, maintaining the integrity of the period of the house. Bobbie has an incredible eye for color, which was really handy in staying true to the period, yet providing our family with a home that fit our personalities. We highly recommend Bobbie Brantley for any interior project you might undertake. She has the knowledge and creativity required to successfully complete any project. She took the time to get to know our likes and dislikes; and she listened to what we said. She finished each phase at the time she stated and at the budget she gave us. Her knowledge of furniture, lighting, color, etc. have provided our family with several lovely homes. Should the need arise, we will most certainly hire her to work with us again.

Bobbi decorated several rooms for me in my condo. This experience was awesome. Her innovated ideas were fun and classy. The project even came in early and under budget!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly fee; or work on a cost-plus basis; or a combination of both. I like to discuss that with the client and make a decision based on client's preference. In this way, the client is more comfortable and, consequently, more relaxed. It's impossible to get a clear picture when they're concerned with a ticking clock, or with "how much is this going to cost...," and like questions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, I like to have a meeting to discuss their project, including what they hope to achieve, their budget and how I can help them. Since it's a get-acquainted time, the client is a little more relaxed; and I'm then able to get a better sense of their tastes, their dynamic (if more than one client), sensitivities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Interior Design from Florida State University.
