Nick Burch is by far the best and most effective trainer I've had in 20 plus years. Since working out with him beginning late last year I've taken off two belt sizes. He's creative with his workouts blending in kickboxing, cardio, and weightlifting. Nick is encouraging and authentic. It’s so much easier working with a trainer who has personally lost weight and hit his goals. I highly recommend Nick for anyone looking to get in shape, increase their endurance, and become healthier. Nick is exactly what a personal trainer should be. He's professional, attentive, motivating and concerned for safety. I was looking for an hour long workout that would burn 1000 calories - something that would rival and exceed Orange Theory. Small group and one-on-one personal training. Nick is extremely passionate and genuine about helping you achieve your fitness goals, no matter what level you are at. He is very down to earth, instead of 'in your face', and can customize workouts based on your likes/dislikes by incorporating different styles/techniques such as kickboxing or yoga, which really appealed to me. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?ETT offers 1-on-1 and semi-private (groups of 4 or less) personal training services. Our rate for a single ETT 1-on-1 personal training session (45-60 mins) starts at $55, while our semi-private session rate starts at $40 per person. We offer discounts on multi-session and monthly training packages that can bring the single session rate down to as low as $50 for 1-on-1 and $30 per person for semi-private. ETT also provides personalized nutrition counseling, body measurement tracking and meal plan suggestions for an small additional fee and all our clients gain access to an exclusive Facebook page full of information that will assist in your quest to live a healthier life.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, I like to speak to the new customer over the phone to get a better sense of why they want to hire a personal trainer. After hearing them explain their needs, I inform them about the services that ETT can provide to help them reach their fitness goals. Then I'll schedule a complimentary in-person consultation and workout. This session lasts approximately 45-60 mins and gives the new customer a better idea of what type of personal training services they can expect from ETT. If they choose to invest in ETT's services after the complimentary session, they decide on what type of training package they'd like to purchase and we determine training days & times based on my current availability.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I am also certified in CPR by the American Heart Association. I am a 2nd-degree blackbelt in Shaolin Kung Fu under Master Amir Ardebily (St. Petersburg, FL). I possess a 3-3 amateur record in ISKA sanctioned Muay Thai kickboxing matches. I am also currently training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I've trained for and competed in numerous endurance events including 10k's, half marathons, obstacle course races (e.g. Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash) and triathlons.
