- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Your first appointment will be an assessment and is the same price as a single session but lasts 90 min. All other prices are for 60min sessions. There is a $10 fee if I travel to your home and a $15 fee for a second person. I also train small groups (ask about pricing). I offer discounts when you pay for a month in advance. Contact me for my price list. Payment for single sessions is due at the time of the session. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy in order to reschedule your session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?As soon as you contact me I will be in touch with you to get a few details and answer any questions. Then I send you an email with a health history questionnaire to see if you have any medical conditions requiring you to get medical clearance from your doctor. If you are ready to move forward I will schedule you for a 90 min assessment which takes place in the studio that I work out of in Carrollwood. At the assessment I start by having you fill out some forms and we speak about your current health, past experience as well as your goals and expectations. After that I will take some measurements like weight, height, circumference, and body composition. Then we move onto some active assessments where I can identify any imbalances in your body so that we can work on correcting them during your program. At the end I take you through a short workout so that I can get an idea of your current fitness level (so wear sneakers and comfortable clothing). I will recommend a general fitness plan at that time taking into account your goals, time frame, budget and availability. Then we will make an appointment for your first session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Additionally I am certified through the National Personal Training Institute as a Personal Trainer. This certification was a 600 hour course that included both theory as well as practical instruction. I was fortunate enough to study under highly qualified instructors that brought the curriculum to life and offered real-world experience in a supervised setting. I am also CPR certified through the American Red Cross.
