I brought my mother to Mario Pescatore when she began to have significant lapses of memory and cognition and anxiety about it. I read the research and knew that a program of hypnosis was the best--probably the only--option that promised some real help to the elderly with dementia. For the first months, I was asked to sit in during the first part of each session. I was impressed by Mario's amazing patience, his real appreciation of the elderly, his gentle use of humor. When, after a few sessions my mother said she could see he really wanted to help, but that this was just a waste of time, he took no offense. I insisted that it was too soon to tell. Now she says that all the goals she identified at the beginning have been achieved. People who did not know she was taking hypnosis have remarked on her improved memory and positive attitude. Mario knows what he's doing. I give him the highest recommendation.

I have been going to Mario for a year for Hypnotherapy, I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first because when you hear the word hypnosis you think of someone having control over your mind But Mario helped me to understand that hypnotherapy is the way for you to take control of the way you think and how you live your life.. Being an older person I had begun wondering about my life and if there was still a future for me. I had lost a few things about myself that I wanted back such as: self-esteem, confidence, fearlessness, positivity and boldness. Those are the things I use to have. With each hypnotherapy session Mario has helped me find what I have lost, because Mario is kind, understanding, great listener, he helps you to focus on yourself and your needs and he is willing to go that extra mile just for you. I wanted to start a tutoring business and Mario helped me by giving me the confidence that I needed to get it started. Mario Pescatore is an excellent hypnotherapist; a true professional who is dedicated to helping you, no matter what the issue is. I find he's a great listener, very knowledgeable, and insightful in getting to the root of issues and coming up with creative solutions. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$125 per hour. Special package now through Oct 1st is $500 for 5 sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process involves the following; First a phone interview at no charge to determine if the client and myself are a good fit to proceed with therapy. Then a first session of discovery and conditioning for hypnosis. After which I design an individual treatment plan for my client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate of the prestigious Hypnosis Motivation Institute with honors, The Directors award and the highest honor from the college The Clinical Achievement award ( I am the only student from my graduating class to receive this award.) I am also an instructor at college. HMI is the first accredited college of clinical hypnotherapy in the country. HMI was established 47 years.
