- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In most situations, the base price is 40 per hour. Some classes require materials, but we try to buy everything we can used or discounted to make sure you get the best price possible. College students who are paying for their own tutoring (without parental aid) can enjoy a 15% discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an interview in a public place, like a Panera or Starbucks. The client is then asked to fill out a short questionnaire to help us understand their needs, and then tutoring can begin! Our sessions are an hour long and typically take place in the student's home or online, depending on the subject matter.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our tutors are college educated and have experience tutoring. Several of us have worked as Teaching Assistants and tutors at universities across the state.
