FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Videography projects are priced based on the amount of hours spent filming on a particular shoot, the number of locations, the size of the crew necessary for the project, and the hours required to edit the final video. Lower budgets generally fit into a package including 90 minutes of filming and 2-3 hours of filming. Whereas, an all-day shoot, requiring extensive lighting, a full crew, multiple locations, and extensive animation and visual effects in post-production, fall into the higher end of budgets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial phone conversation to lay out expectations, vision, and a schedule, is generally our first order of business. After a clear understanding of the client's vision, I will provide a detailed estimate of costs, and an expected delivery date of the final video. With a clear road map of where we are going, revisions are rarely necessary. However, I do include a limited number of revisions, within reason, to make sure the client is completely satisfied with the end result.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over two decades of experience as an audio engineer, composer, and audio editor. My experience filming and editing is not quite as extensive, with over 5 years since expanding my company into the video realm. However, the two go hand in hand, and fortunately, the expansion, learning curve, and development was a speedy and familiar transition.
